Default PT HD 7.4cs6 get info shows the wrong version.

After installing the 7.4cs6 updater (OS 10.4.9) the "get info" for the application shows the right creation date but the version reads 7.4cs5!

Talking about that.... I think it is about time to change the date on the PT launch window to "Digidesign 1991-2008"

Yepp. Same here.

I still got a 7.4 on a 10.4.11 system....as a trusty version, if 7.4.2 on 10.5.3 fails... I believe that the 7.4cs6 version installs correctly - just the infofile from Digi that's not updated...

CS updates often do not update all parts of the software
but usually only installs or updates the updated software components and extensions

If you have installed previous updates, some file versions may not change. This update installs the following files:

DigiDal.kext (v7.4cs6)
Pro Tools HD.app (v7.4cs5)
DMC.framework (v7.4cs4)
FFmt.framework (v7.4cs4)
DAE.framework (v7.4cs3)
DHS.framework (v7.4cs3)
Dynamics III.dpm (v7.4cs2)
D-Control.bundle (v7.4cs1)
HWC.framework (v7.4cs1)

Thanks for the details.

I posted it because I wanted Digi to fix it.
I still think that if the name is 7.4cs6 this should be the name in the "get info" as it used to be in all previous cs updates
(It seems that Someone simply forgot to do something....)

(What about someone who had" an old" cs5 on a separate partition?)
