Trouble selecting MIDI notes
This is an old issue (there's posts of this problem from -05 on this forum) but it still seems to exist in PT 8. Sometimes PT doesn't seem to understand that a MIDI-note starting on beat 1 is there. So if you select a whole bar it fails to include the first note if it starts exactly on beat 1. Instead it might include the first note of the following bar!
I'm in Grid mode (not relative grid) and the notes are quantized. I've tried avoiding this problem by using different editing modes - notes, regions, the midi editor - but it happens regardless. I've tried moving the note in time and letting the grid snap it back to beat 1, but this doesn't help. The only way to fix it seems to be to remove the note and inserting a new one... Is this a bug? (and if it is, why is it still there..?) Can you solve this somehow? |
