help with windows configuration

Hi I am running Pro Tools 8.01 on Power ppc G5, I am trying to create different windows configurations for the Mix windows, I am able to create configurations showing a wide mix a narrow mix, different sends and insert views, my problem is this, example I have 4 audio tracks and 4 instruments tracks, i tries to create a configuration showing only the audio tracks then 1 showing just the instruments tracks, i hide the instruments tracks create a new configuration, but when i go and recall a previous configurations showing all the tracks only the audio tracks are displayed, Any help with this is greatly appreciate, thank you in advance

Window configurations doesn't store tracks show/hide status. Use a memory location, and if desirable, link it to the WC of choice.

It's one of the available general properties when you create a new memory location. You can also link a previously made mem loc to a WC if you double-click to edit it.
