PT 9 crossgrade with used equipment.

I bought an 002r used about a year ago. Is there any way to check if its serial number is still available? If i buy the crossgrade version and it doesn't work, can I just upgrade it to the full version by paying the difference?

if it's unopened you can buy hey this is what i suggest

by the crossgrade... hint hint talk them down to 225, your audio store can get down to like 200 i believe. if it doesn't work then buy an mbox 2 mini from sweetwater.com it is 195

at the end of the day if it doesnt work and you do need to purchase the mini you have pro tools 9 for under $500.

same here but i'm a registered owner of 002R factory/PTLE 8 and bought another used 002R.

Pls let me know if i'm intitle for PT9 crossgrade from LE?

As far as I know, as long as you have the serial number from your 002 and it has not been used previously for PT 9 then it will work for the crossgrade.
