Anway there are 4 mic models : 57 on and off axis, 421 & 67 Condenser
They only seem to work on the new cabs & there is quite a few of those. Mics do what you would expect, condenser is brighter, etc.
The graphics seem to be refreshed, never paid much attention before.
There are new plugin factory settings, 57 against the previous 36, with some names like Chicken Head jazz, created on the 20th Dec 04. So they have been keeping us waiting for a couple of months !!
Yes, yes but what about the sounds...
Old settings sound exactly the same (very good), its when you use the new cabs that the sound changes. More options not a big change after 30mins of playing. Haven't found the "killer" setting so far, so Digi have yet to prove to me, why I should upgrade from 2.4 ?
It seems to use less DSP power, 5 instances per 1 Accel DSP at 48khz seems to be much better.
So I will need those other 13 days to make up my mind.
