Trouble while recording
I just recorded 2 tracks of guitar using 2 mic's at once with no problem and when I try to record the next 2 tracks I receive the following message while recording, but not while playback occurs:
"DAE can't get audio from the disk fast enough. The disk could be too slow or needs to be fragmented". We're running the program on a Western Digital 7200 rpm external IDE hard drive. I have no firewire connection, but rather USB. I never had this problem before. I defragmented the drive just in case. Does anyone know what is wrong? Thanks in advance. Seth |

Re: Trouble while recording
I'm getting this error as well with my 1.25Ghz/1GB AlBook - not sure what the problem is - i've tried it with the external drive thru the fw800 port as well as connected to the 002R and still nothing - any advice out there?
i'm getting maybe 20 tracks & 10 plugins with my 002R - anybody have any tricks for trimming CPU usage as well? thanks
