clicks and no guitar

I am just purchased protools le for mac. I am using the m box mini. I am having the following problems:

1. My guitar input is registering but during recording and playback all I'm hearing is a click sound. I can see the wave form is there, but I can only hear a click.
2. My plugins for abelton live, melodyne and reason adapted don't seem to be recognized by protools although they are on my hard drive.
3. I don't have the same options to check when setting up my instrument options as are on the video.

Help! The video doesn't address any of this.
