Default How is the FWAudioCallback loop crash?

Hi. Has there been luck in finding the FWAudioCallback issue?
Maybe for CS3 or further?
The moment I think it's gone it comes back.

I send the crash-logs to Apple.

Just curious.

For me, I was getting these crashes a few times daily. Then I reinstalled a new system on a fresh drive and everything is working fine since. I think there was perhaps some sort of corruption in my old system. If you have the time, that would be my recommendation.. oh and get rid of bad plugs (for me Kontakt2 was specifically causing my system to be pretty unstable).

Good luck,
Jamey

Turning off DSP cache and clearing pref's will knock this out. Most of the time. Use the pref tool (first sticky in the forum). Yes, check for funky plugs. No NI!!!

Forgot one thing -

If the Digidesign Database folder on the FW drive was created on 6/7x, I quit PT and delete that folder.

Way less problems. Already been discussed in the LoopCrash thread, but there you go.

We're pretty sure we have found at least the major culprit and will get it into a release as soon as we're confident of the fix.
