Default i have $15k to blow on production gear HELP

Whats up everybody

I was a long time lurker and I contribute now from time to time so I appreciate everybody here, thx

$15K is a start point, I could spend a little more, too if it will get me, like, more clout and stuff etc

I currently have a few OG 192 i/o setups with Pro Tools 10 and Waves plugins on MAC 209-2012.
...Time to upgrade.

My question is:
What is best MAC Computer option to go with? (specific years and models would help mucho)

and

which HDX or HD system to roll with on AAX Pro Tools considering my gear?

Last I heard when i was shopping (moons ago) for gear was trash can MAC so that will date me a little I am aware, go ahead and roast away Idc

Here is my laundry list of gear

Apollo 8xp (open to ideas in same price range)
Pro Tools (2020? oh whaaaa? plz lmk your detailed thoughts!)

...and just to rub it in:
Tube Tech CL1B
Neumann U87i
Neve 1073 (haven't purchased yet, N or DP?)
Fab Filters

No wrong answers just wrong mixes

Thx!

ya Boi

More details needed:
1-how many ins and outs do you need(no point in a 16 channel interface if you work solo all the time)?
2-what do you do? Music, VO, sound tracks.....
3-how much do you use VI's(virtual instruments)?
4-re the stuff under "just to rub it in", assuming you are thinking about buying this stuff, here's an opinion(and please take it that way):
U87? Great mic(not as great as the earlier purple-badged version) but over-priced. For the same money, you can get a Miktek CV-4, a Miktek C7e, an SM-7B and a Cloudlifter, with money left over(the C7e compares extremely well next to a vintage U87)
Tubetech CL1B? Killer piece
Neve 1073? Great preamp for sure, but holy (*% expensive. A Vintech 273 with PSU is half the price(per channel) and stacks up nicely.
FabFilters? Assuming you mean the plugins, get the whole bundle(or at least the ProQ3 and limiter).

my 2 cents on expensive bits in general: no song ever became a hit because of a mic, a preamp, a compressor or a console. It starts with a great performance of a great song. The rest is mostly about not screwing it up

thanks for replying:

1 - 16 ins outs, i record singers and rappers, alot of time i get beats stemmed out but we do in-studio instrument recordings monthly too..
2- tracking and mixing
3- VI are not used now very much CURRENTLY in studio, usually make beats elsewhere at home...but I would like the option in-stu
4- U87i is the first mic to buy...we have a tlm103 and UA pre now
Neve1073 is a must have for me but i will check out those other pieces thanks

yes the $500 fab filter package

I 85% agree with you on the equpiment not being everything, but vocal chain is important...and anything helps in my eyes

soooooo whatcha think on which computer to buy or any other 16 channel interface?

i used to be very in the know about the specs needed for procesor etc and some nuances that come with each machine, but you know..old now lol

For pop Singers and rappers get a avalon 737sp. You also need a c800g to go with that though. Lulzzzzz.
