Hi all,
I'm going to sell my Music Production Toolkit 1, and I need to know which is the iLok fee to transfer its licence, I really hope it is just 25 US$ for the entire bundle; thank you for the support_ ps: I opened a ticked at the iLok site asking for the same thing_

Unfortunately, it's $25 for EACH of the plugins. This is not nessacarily a bad thing. You can sell the items a la carte. Sell the basic toolkit license (track expanion, etc.), then sell TL space, Hybrid, Soundreplacer, etc. separately. There's always people who want those individually and don't want or need to buy the whole toolkit just to get those. You can check the forums or ebay to see what they've sold for.
As for the Mp3 option, forget it, since it's cheaper for someone to buy it from the digi store than to pay the transfer fee. As for DINR noise reduction, you can hardly give those away. By the way, you may have seen people selling the whole music toolkit for one price without all the transfers. In those cases the sellers just had extra brand new copies (unregistered) that maybe they got on clearance or something. |

The easest and cheapest way to do this is to buy a new iLok for 39.99 and plug it into your computer (without registering it to your account) and then move all the licenses your selling on to it. And then "Eject it". There is a a 7 grace period from the time its plugged that allows you to transfer as many assets as you like for free. Then you send the iLok overnight or priority mail to the buyer who can then plug the unregistered iLok into his account and then either move the assets for free onto their exsisting iLok or create an an new account and register the new iLok to it. It's cheaper to do it this way if you have more than one asset to move.

thank you very much nst7 and sunburst79!
your answers are both useful, i think I'll first go for individually selling the software (after checking ebay), and then see what happens, in case i always have the second option, which is not bad tho a bit tricky ![]()
