getting logged out of DUC?
Have an issue that cropped up earlier this week. I'm using Firefox26 on a mid-2010 Mac Mini running OSX 10.6.8 to access the web and other stuff. I like to stay logged in to the DUC even when I quit FF - makes it easier when I get email notifications and I can just click on the email link and be ready to go when the DUC page opens up. About mid-week I did my usual (downloaded email, checked message, clicked on one for the DUC) and I had to log back in to the DUC. Figured this was an error on my part somehow; checked setting in FF and I do not have it set to clear any logins when quitting. I toggled the setting both ways and the same thing - always have to log back in.
I seem to remember this happened sometime back but it cleared itself up. Anybody else having this kind of issue? Nothing has changed on this system that I can see. edit for additional: Happens in Safari as well but I hate Safari. |

Re: getting logged out of DUC?
Is your browser set to NOT accept cookies? That would do it. Firefox has always worked fine for me with logins

Re: getting logged out of DUC?
Like I said I changed nothing in FF or Safari; I always accept cookies for the DUC (and the rest of Avid's sites). I have to wonder if a cookie got corrupted? FF works fine for logging in but staying logged to the DUC in after quitting is not working. Every other forum I go on I can stay logged in after quitting FF.

Re: getting logged out of DUC?
I'd clear the cookie for the DUC and then log back in, that should reinstall the cookie and see if that fixes it?

Re: getting logged out of DUC?
Tried that already - no joy. At least I'm not getting logged out in the middle of a session if I take to long to write a reply - the soundsonline forums do that and have been doing that like forever.
