Default Collaboration Perhaps?

I just found out from my collaborator that we were not going to ever finish some tunes that we started on many moons ago. So, I was wondering if anyone here on the DUC hears anything that they feel like working into these two songs.

Yeah, I know there are 'collaboration sites' out there (Lulu.com, et. al.), but I thought that it would be totally cool to work with some people here on the DUC. Well, that is if anyone finds any inspiration or interest in these projects:

November Saturday : (5.4 MB - mp3 @ 44.1/16/192) This is a tune where my now missing collaborator and I were going for a groovy/pop/alternative feel. The bass track has some audio popping here and there that will need to be fixed or played again if the track is to be finished -- but this was such an "idea" song that I didn't sweat polishing it up much. I play everything you hear.

Eyes of the Moon : (5.2 MB - mp3 @ 44.1/16/192) Here's one where I was going for a more smooth jazz/pop kind of style. I play everything you hear.

He was my lyricist/vocalist and keyboardist who has now disappeared (retired?) because of some kind of 'real job' and a 'fiancée'. Sheesh -- who ever heard of such crap? Well, anyway, these ideas were just laying around half-finished and collecting dust, so I thought "hey, why not see if some other DUCsters feel like doing something with them?" Of course, full project files are available too.

Any takers?

LOL -- thank you for your kind words. Uhhmmm ... no , I really don't have a direction to follow for these tunes. No lyrics nor vocal melody -- he was the lyricist. Reward? Well, how about I buy you a beer sometime? I dunno, what'cha want?

Yep yep ... I can transfer the files to you through my website. Let me know if you (or anyone for that matter) is interested. I'll set up a little ftp server.
