Bypassing mbox preamps
is there a way to bypass the preamps in the mbox and just use it as an interface to connect to the computer?
edit: i probably should've specified that i'm using the Mbox2 mini |

Re: Bypassing mbox preamps
as long as the 48 volt switch isn't depressed the pre-amps shouldn't be activated.

Re: Bypassing mbox preamps
The preamp is always activated, even if phantom is off. Unless the mini has a SPDIF input, you cannot bypass the preamps. Why do you want to do this? Maybe someone will have a better idea for you.
