Digi 002...Asio..Cakewalk...Kontakt?
I use Sonar for sequencing and every since i have had the 002, when using Sonar i have had the 002 in "Stand Alone" mode (the Monitor outputs of the 002 go to my sound card). Last night I tried to record a midi sequence using the ASIO driver with the 002. The sequence uses some sounds from my software sampler "Kontakt" and my Motif.
Here is the problem. The sequence plays fine when the sample rate in the ASIO panel is at 128. But it will not record at the 128 sample rate. When I try to record I get a strange digital/studdering noise. It will only record at the 1024 sample rate. However, when I record at the 1024 sample rate, the intruments from Kontakt play out of sync with Motif (seems to be "ahead" of the Motif). Any suggestions on how to remedy this situation? |

Re: Digi 002...Asio..Cakewalk...Kontakt?
Oh well..... Guess I have to go back to "Stand Alone Mode". The main problem with "Stand Alone" in this case is I have to always have to re-ajust the levels between the Sound Card which is playing Kontakt and 002 monitor levels which are playing Hardware (keyboards/modules) every time i open a Sonar Session.... Bummer
