Default Recommendation for a good PT11 reference guide?

The documentation that comes with PT is pretty thorough, but I like to have a secondary reference book hanging around.
I'm a relatively competent user [ I was trained and certified in college, but that was a long time ago :) ] so I don't necessarily need a ground-up tutorial or anything. I like seeing an alternate perspective from a good author, and sometimes they have useful new techniques. Most importantly, it's good just to keep on hand for recalling shortcuts or other things that are easy to forget :)

These seem to be the 2 most popular ones:

Pro Tools 11: Music Production, Recording, Editing, and Mixing
http://www.amazon.com/Pro-Tools-11-P...+tools+11+book

Pro Tools 11 Ignite!: The Visual Guide for New Users
http://www.amazon.com/Pro-Tools-11-I...+tools+11+book

Does anyone have any recommendations?
(Also I know this thread probably could also go in "Getting Started" or "PT 11" so if a mod would like to move it, go right ahead.)

I had an earlier edition of Ignite. Thought it was quite good Plenty of tutorials on youtube and at Pro-Tools-Expert.com for a modest donation

I have both of the ones you linked to. Combined they are a decent reference. They are complementary to each other and to the PT reference. If I had to pick one, definitely the Collins book. It is much better written and organized.

The best thing is to also print out the PT reference manual too and put it in a big spiral binder!

I actually wish someone would publish a hardcopy of the PT reference manual.

There used to be a product of a printed manual on the Avid store. I think I have a PT5.1 and a PT7.2 and a PT10 hardcopy

Yes! I have done this in the past with the list of shortcuts, but that's an even better idea to print the whole manual. I have a friend who has access to cheap printing - maybe it's time to call in a favor!

I have the PT9 edition of the Collins book. I keep it on top of my rack. I haven't read it cover to cover but I'm much more likely to check it out than open up the 1200+ page reference PDF. Lots of useful tidbits and tricks, but a bit more of a birds-eye view overall than the manual. It's pretty much exactly the book you're looking for.
