Default Searching on this forum?

Quick question all: can anyone help me with searching for shorter words in this forum?

I am trying to search for "RME" and "UFX+" but the search engine always comes up empty-handed, which I know isn't true. I have to use google search to find the posts, which works but I'd prefer to keep on the forum.

Cheers

I always use google, as the results are way better than the forum search.

Type the search word(s), then site:duc.avid.com in the google search field, and the search results are filtered to this forum. Works with any site.

They used to have a section on the front page describing this, called "Google the DUC", but it went away. I guess there were legal issues.

Also there's site:avid.com if you want to google Avid.

It also works the other way. If you want to for example google pro tools but exclude anything avid.com you put a minus sign in front of the site keyword.

Code:
google> pro tools -site:avid.com
