Default Focusrite and 002

The never ending wrinkles of Pro Tools...somebody shoot me! I just added a Octopre to my system, which has been OSX 10.5.8, PT LE 8.0 and a 002. Always worked, no issue..now when I add the Octopre I get a message saying "pro tools cannot set record rate as needed" The 002 is at 48, the Octopre is set at 48...??? are they not talking? Im using the ADAT light pipe I can start PT without the Octopre...but that wont work in the long run...any solutions

THX
