Absynth and Battery - Good on Mbox 2Pro?
I was wondering if using my new Gateway laptop MX6453 (2GRAM, 1600FSB, dual-core AMD) is a good idea. I have an MPC and a KORG MS2000 and I want to trigger absynth and Battery. Can I get these two VSTs running on AUX tracks and MIDI tracks with near 0 latency? I hate latency. I have a Quicksilver G4 tower with a gig of RAM. Would this be better? would using the M-powered tools be better than NI Battery? Is Pepsi better than Coke?
