PLUGIN MISSING???? Plugin No Longer Active????????

So,

Right now Im currently going back to some old sessions that were done before Pro Tools 7.1 and I just ran into a slight problem.

In a session that I just tried opening, I got a message telling me that the plugin Voice Chrous Vibrato 3 is currently missing so it will be inactive on specific tracks that it was used on. My question is, how the hell did this happen, and is this something that is common, and can it be fixed.

If anybody can be of assisatance I would extremely appreciate it.
