Re: where is the Trim plugin?
I think trim is only RTAS. If you need to change the gain using audiosuite, use the 'gain' plug in.

I thought trim had something to do with hot chics.

Re: where is the Trim plugin?
Make sure if you're trying to put the trim plug on a stereo track that you're looking under "multiple-mono plug-in," where you'd find AmpFarm, SansAmp, Mic Modeler and the like....

Yeah. If you can make your overall automation slightly louder without changing the relative automation levels, makes them really really hot. At least that's what I've heard, I'm still using 5.0 (no trimming for me) |

Re: where is the Trim plugin?
Does anyone know of better instructions on using the gain plugin. The protools plugin reference guide is very vague. I tried processing and on occassion I would get just noise from the processed track. Like I over did the gain. but I can't find instructions on how to read the plugin controls.

Re: where is the Trim plugin?
The trim plugin is right below the USB Masturbator plugin. Both plugins will give you the same outcome. Just be sure you have the hardware installed properly.
