Please provide your system details. If you have a Pro Tools HD system, you are in the right forum. If you have a Pro Tools LE or M-Powered system, there are separate forums for those products.

If you are on Pro Tools 7.3, you should update to Pro Tools 7.3.1:

Quote:
"Could not complete your request because Assertion in \code\azuki_Cliff\AlturaPorts\NewFileLibs\Sys\Sys_ line 144" error when launching Pro Tools 7.3.

This dialog is posted on Pro Tools version 7.3 systems on Windows XP with no network interface, or if a network interface (e.g. a wireless adaptor) is disabled. It does not appear to be linked to any other problem in Pro Tools, so you should be able to safely ignore this error and click OK to dismiss it.

This is fixed in version 7.3.1 which can be found in the Downloads section for the specific type and platform of Pro Tools software on the Support & Downloads page.

Try changing your DAE Playback Buffer from level 8 to level 2 or 4.
