Default Keeping time- need help!

I need help. Question- can i not keep time or is this progression not meant to be in time? Meaning, the chord changes hit right on the beats. I have played for a while but new to recording. I have written a chord progression that works well with lyrics etc. but when i put it to a click i am always early, usually perfectly early. I have practiced for weeks, trained at various tempos, beats etc. it always sounds like i am right on the beat in my head.

With that said, is art just art and my chord progression is what it is, or can i just flat out not keep time?

Screenshot of a 12 sec clip attached and link below to 12 sec audio click. Any help appreciated!!

Default Re: Keeping time- need help!

Set the grid to 8th notes to measure the upbeats.
A great number of songs have chord transitions that occur on the upbeat in 4/4.
Usually an 8th note just before the top of the next bar or downbeat.
Sounds like the 2nd chord your playing is on that particular upbeat which is fine.
If you have the grid set to 1/4 notes the parts on an upbeat will appear to be early in relation to the following downbeat.
