digi002 as the only soundcard on a pc??

does anybody use the digi002 as standard full duplex soundcard on their pc?
my problem is that my digi002 won't work on games, dvd/music players and alot more,
and this is absolutely not an acceptable solution, more the opposite
any help would be much apreciated
