anyone have any performance tips for pt6 on a G4 733 1GB RAM?
pt6 is sluggish... for instance, metering latency, fader movements are choppy also.
do I need a faster box? currently running a mix+ but soon upgrading to a hd2 [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

The 733MHz G4 is fully comptatible with PT24MixPlus, so there must be other reasons for the sluggishness. Try to quit all other software, disconnect from any networks and be sure that you have assigned enough RAM to ProTools (in Finder) if you are running PT5.1.
