MBox with iMac? dont want my PBookG4 anymore

Anyone using Mbox with iMac? Im so frustrated with using MBox with my PowerBook G4 because I cant use more than 15 tracks and maybe 2 or 3 plugins. (see topic below).

Im planning to sell it and buy an iMac, its supposed to work fine. Do you know if anyone has tryied it?

Or should I buy for the same price a Desktop Sony Vaio? what would you do?

I went with the desktop G4 933!
I thought about waiting for the XP version but after the long/delayed release and the many problems with PTLE on XP I opted for the proven platform!
I use PCs for 3D and Digital Video and soon my Powermac will be doing the same:O)

Many problems with PTLE XP? I don't know many of those. Mine is rock solid just as yours is. Proven platform? I beg to disagree...two words...mirror door.
