Default Recommended Midi Interface for PT9

I am in the process of building my PC to run PT9|HD Native with an Omni Interface. Will post my specs once I know it is running smoothly!
I am looking for sugestions/recommendations for a Midi interfaces that will work nicely with PT9.
I can possibly get the legacy Midi I/O at a reasonable price if these are any good.
Thanks in advance.

It may depend on how many midi inputs/outputs you need at one time. Any of the inexpensive M-Audio midi to usb interfaces should work fine (like the Uno). Also, any of the M-Audio Axiom keyboard controllers also serve as midi/usb interfaces. Some other brands of controllers may also do this.

I could not get my UNO to work with Windows 7(was fine on XP), but my MOTU Fastlane USB (2x2) is working dandy.

I second the MIDI IO from Digidesign. Mine was about $200 used and has 10 ins/outs. I only use 1 set but in my experience whenever I had less then 8 eventually they all get used.

Plus it matches my two 192s :).
