Urgently need Motherboard for use with 002R.

Hi all,

Could someone PLEASE help to point me in the right direction?

Just yesterday, my motherboard ceased to function and I have a couple of recording projects this weekend.

I was wondering, what would be the most compatible board to use with a AMD XP2700+ CPU, 2GB Kingston KVR333X RAM, 80 & 200 GB WD7200rpm 8MB Cache drives, Adaptec Firewire 4300 card and an Antec/Power supply - case.

My previous board, an MSI K7N2G board never really agreed with Pro Tools so the upgrade will hopefully help to solve any previous issues.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It's $53.00 and just happens to be one of my favorite MB's. Works well with PTLE and should be compatible with the other components you still have. The board's full name is ASUS "A7V8X-X" KT400 Chipset Motherboard for AMD Socket A CPU. Asus has made some good ones in the past!
