002R Monitor Outs = Nothing??

I've got a (stock) 002R, and I've always connected my monitors to Analog Outs 1&2. Now that I have a BLA PM8 Summing Mixer all Analog Outs 1-8 are sent to the PM8's 8 Inputs, and my monitors are now connected to the 002R's Monitor Outs 1&2. But after doing so, I've lost all volume control on the front panel from both the Monitor and Headphone knobs. There's a very faint signal in my monitors, but it isn't adjustable. And the Headphone Output is giving me nothing.

I would assume that the interface's Monitor Outs would be designed for just that, connecting monitors. And that the Monitor Volume control would control the signal from said Outputs...

I've heard that the Analog Outs 1&2, Monitor Outs, and Headphone Outs are all driven by the same circuit, and sometimes one of the line amplifier circuits will die.

Anyone know if this sort of thing is covered by the 002R's warranty? I have no idea what all that warranty actually covers, or how long it is and if it's still active.

Only to be on the safe side: Are you sure you have not pressed the "alt src to mon" button?

And is the mute disabled?
