I have both (on 2 computers) and Nero seems to be more stable and also has more options. I use Steinberg Wavelab for most Audio CD burning but Nero is handy to have around for quick copies etc..

Hope this helps.

I never could get my Nero to work with multiple CDR's at once and their customer support was extremely unhelpful.
Either one works, Nero has more features but in general if you use EZ, Nero, Click N Burn they are all pretty much OK.
Still a shame no one has a program like CD Architect (audio only), allows you to create nicely arranged CD's.

Exactly, SKI!
It was one of Sonic Foundry's biggest mistakes to abandon that one. I still don't understand what happened. I'd pay $200 for a great Red Book program like that.

PS I use EZ CD Creator plain jane on my WinMe partition. It's been really trouble-free.

Not a bad idea to visit the various websites to check on support for your make/model of CD-R hardware.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">The latest version of SF's Vegas Video supposedly has all of CD Architect's functionality.

Uh, a Redbook burner for only $600! What an irresistible bargain

I have Nero and I hate having to remember to bounce as an AIFF file if I want to burn it to CD (because Nero doesn't recognize bounced ProTools WAV files for some reason).

Imagine here I am working exclusively with WAV files for many months and then when I'm ready to burn I have to remember-- and often forget-- to bounce as AIFF (not WAV) before burning.

Maybe it's just me that has a problem with this, with my reduced memory cells.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">We use both, but definitely prefer Nero over EZ Creator. Never had any problem having Nero recognize WAV files from PT.

For RED BOOK applications I highly recommend Steinberg Wavelab. Excellent program but kind of expensive. (Around $400.00)

a suggestion,
try bouncing as a 16bit audio file, you might be able to burn it using nero, i do it using nero.
