Most useful keyboard shortcuts.
I was just re-reading the Windows Shortcuts pdf file and it's incredible how many there are.
I have used most of them before but not often enough to have them really sink into memory. I have printed out the entire pdf before and hung it in the studio but it slowed me down because I spent too much time searching for the shortcuts. So, what are the shortcuts that you guys use all the time? Thanks, Marc |

Start(Winwindow)+Ctrl+Del and click on the plugin you like to inactivate.

A good one to remember is that WIN+ALT is the modifier for working with multiple selected tracks without having to group them. A good undocumented one, is WIN+CTRL and click on the track name, mute, fader, pan fader in the edit window to change display modes. My favourite.. or the one I use the most: CTRL+Z Rail

I seem to have developed a compulsive
'CNTRL-S' habit. You never know when the next spontaneous reboot might come knockin...

Re: Most useful keyboard shortcuts.
i have the MS Optical mouse which has 4 buttons + wheel. i have the far left button programmed to Ctrl+[ for zoom out and the far right button programmed for F5 for zoomer tool. it makes editing soooooo fast...
another favorite is Alt+Shift+3 for consolidate regions. and also .1. for go to memory location (where 1 is the marker number). then there is the all time favorite - in fact, the reason i bought PT - Space for play and Ctrl+Space for record... how much easier does it get? (i don't want to hear about the numeric keypad, ok?...)
