Default Diving into PT X

Did you guys just run the updater or UN-install pt 9 then install PT X?

Anyone using omnisphere and NI/komplete 6/7/8?

On my snow leopard, mac pro 1.1 tower, with PT9 previously installed, I just ran the updater and all is working well.

Doesn't AVID recommend uninstalling previous versions? Doesn't it say that in the docs?

I'm sure it does.

Format, reinstall OS and start over.

Everything is perfecto. will check the NI stuff soon, but I don't expect any issues with it, since they all loaded fine. LOVE PT10. Truly amazing, especially with all of the mixing I have to do with several projects.

Just do it.. It does say it works better with older versions especially.
Run Disk Permissions in between all of the update processes too!

Spectrasonics contacts there told me all their plugins are working so far. I'll check them all and report tomorrow.
