Vocal plugin (electric, metallic sound) for broadcast production? How to do it?
Hello,
Actually I'm using Pro Tools 7.4 LE on Windows XP and... i've got little question. I'm looking for good vocal plugin for broadcast production with many useful presets. I wanna change voice to kind of electric - no robotic! - and metallic sound (maybe with some flanger and delay) :) Huh, or maybe i can do it on my actually plugins (Waves Platinum Bundle) Can anybody help me? Any tips? Any presets? Please, help me. Example: http://www.zshare.net/audio/57046822fbd2ae25/ |

Definitely is a Eventide STUTTER patch. Probably filtered out with a 1 band EQ to have everything from like 1.5K and below GONE then boost the highs to get that sheen and add effects as desired. The stutter is a patch though on the eventide it sounds like to me.

You could reproduce the stutter "manually" by just cutting and pasting your waveform. The rest is probably eq-ing (as IntelDoc mentioned), reverb and I think some double-tracking. Maybe just copy the track, pan one left, one right and shift one of them slightly in time or pitch?
Not sure though. |

or you could just get pro tools 8.0
it comes with a great AIR filter gate... i actually never knew how to make a stutter until 8.0 (pretty sad i know)
