HUI Tascam US-2400 follow edit and mix window

Glad to be part of the DUC community.

Ive used PT8 HD on just one project now after using Nuendo\cubase for 10 years.

Its a real pleasure working and tracking with it.

Now iam wondering if any of you good people can help me with my remote controll.

Iam using A Tascam US2400 in HUI mode. Iam only using it for volume and channel selection.

Iam wondering if its possible to make the Edit window and mix window follow the selection when thouching a fader. and make the channel selected with just thouching the fader.

Go to "SETUP, then PERIPHERALS"
Go to the "MIDI CONTROLLERS" tab

Set up your device here. I use a Mackie DXB and set up 3 HUI protocols to get all faders moving. (8 per HUI bank)

The channel select buttons on your console should select the channels in Pro-Tools.

Also, you'll see the Automation options on each channel, it's available in both the mix and edit windows. From here you can select behaviours, Off, Read only, Touch, Latch, etc.

If you press "APPLE 4" (4 on the numeric keypad, not above the "ER" keys) then you can suspend certain automation parameters if you choose.
For example I switch off the MUTE automation.
