Default DigiRewire Missing from Aux Insert List

My DigiRewire plugin is nowhere to be found. I see digirewire.dpm is in the plugins folder but I am not able to find it anywhere in my insert list.

Config: PT LE 7 (upgrade) with MBox on Tiger 10.4.5.

Any ideas anyone? I do not see this issue listed on Digi's support site.

My goal: I am attempting to use ProTools with ver 2.3 of Reason Adapted, which as I understand it, will work fine. Also, I want to give the UglyVST host software a try. If the insert is supposed to show up as "Reason" as I see in some screen shots, that is not present either. Reason is set to "Rewire" as the input in the upper left.

Many Thanks for reading this!

~Jack~

Actually, it's been mentioned I believe that upgrading to Reason 3.0.x will work with 7.x versions of Pro Tools LE. That may be why you're not finding it. Also, if it's the same on Mac (Not having 7.x on my Mac, I wouldn't know...), Reason should be listed under Instruments. I don't know where "Rewire" actually shows up, never seen it in my lists... but never tried it out yet.

I have 2.5 and 2.5 adapted and they work fine with Pro Tools 7. If you have an intel Mac then you definetly need the universal binary version of 3 which i believe is 3.0.5.

Cheers

Thanks guys. I keep reading to "instantiate the rewire plugin" and the screen shot says "rewire" so I am looking for that! I probably have more of an issue with symantics! LOL.

I do not yet see Reason in my instrument tracks though. :>(

I was looking on propellerheads website last night and there was an unprotected OSX rewire update. Rewire version 1.7 if i remember rightly.

Give it a whirl
