ReCycle, Reason, Acid (On PC) Drum Tracks
This is a newbie question. I'm trying to come up with some "general" americana/folk/country drum tracks. I don't have budget or space to record real drum tracks. I know most country drum tracks are rock based as well, but I'm having trouble finding some more "ballad" type tracks.
1. Can anyone recommend some pre-recorded products that might work well for this type of work? 2. If I wanted to do loop-based drum tracks with single hit samples from say, smartloops, would recycle or reason be a good choice? I do have a pc available with Acid 3.0 as well but would prefer to keep everything on my mac if I can. Any help would be appreciative. Background on my system is G4 MDD 867mHZ, Digi002, spare bedroom I mainly do the folk/americana/songwriter type stuff. Thanks, sean
