Default Sustain Pedal Question

Using an Oxygen 8 with a standard Electronic keyboard pedal to trigger sustain but for some reason my RTAS's are not responding to it. Every other midi trigger is fine but no sustain. I have searched the forums to the best of my ability without success. Can anyone tell me what the set - up should be? I'm sure it must be something simple in the preferences or something.
Regards,
~Buzzsaw
