003 Monitor control and mute problem?
Howdy,
I've just sold my 003R+/LE8 rig to a friend and we're having some problems setting it up. When I've got his monitors plugged in we have no control over the level being sent and the mute switch doesn't work. His monitors are connected with regular instrument cables could this be the problem? I always used XLR to TRS jacks. The monitors are plugged into outputs 1 and 2 on the 003R but everything is just coming out at full blast and I can only control volume from the mixer window and cannot mute. Any ideas? Thanks. |

Quote:
Balanced cables to powered monitors should be cleaner. Unbalanced cables on a short run to an amp should be OK, with speaker cable from amp to monitors required. Bob |
