Digi: Steinberg has released the ASIO2 SDK!
http://www.steinberg.net/developers/ASIO2SDKAbout.html
Hint, hint... ;-) Dear people @Digidesign, Will you make an ASIO2 driver for the Digi001 (Mac)? Or... Will you provide 3rd party developers (eg Steinberg, Propellerheads, Emagic etc) with a development kit so they can provide ASIO2 support for the Digi001 in their products? Thanks in advance. Re: Digi: Steinberg has released the ASIO2 SDK!
Did you know that Digi and Steinberg stopped playing nicely in the sandbox together right after Steinberg dropped TDM support a couple of years ago?
The ASIO/DirectI/O version available is just about that old...35ms latency with Cubase. Since Steinberg is now competing directly in the post-pro market with Digi (via Nuendo), I would be AMAZED if there was any cooperation between the two companies. [ July 27, 2001: Message edited by: lwilliam ]
