After some further investigation this *appears* to be due to bad installs or corrupted components.
I would strongly recommend doing a clean uninstall and reinstall, as it will likely solve the problem. |

Hi, I just installed my ProTools 8 on my new MacBook Pro, and I get this error message everytime I try to open a project.
I have done a clean uninstall several times and deleted all plugins. The program starts up as usual, but then I get the error message immediately when I click "new session", "blank session" or "open session". MacBook Pro 2.3 ghz intelcore 4 gb ram mac os x 10.6.6 digi 003 protools 8 le I use a FW800 to FW400 cable, could that be the problem? I asked the staff where I bought my pt and they said that it wouldn't. |

I am tryin to open pro tools in a new session and i keep gettin this bus error in thread main thread at address message.. how do i fix
