Upgrading to Windows 7
My trusty XP PC's OS drive just took a dump. Need a new audio PC. What's involved in upgrading my Pro Tools LE 8. something to Windows 7? Using an 002r interface. All my OS files on the fried internal HDD is being transferred over to my newer lap top as a temporary storage. There's also another good HDD in the fried machine that I will transfer over to the new machine that has all my PT music sessions on it. Hmmm....I wonder....I also have an HP Media Center PC model m7248n that has XP on it and I recently did a system restore on it so it's clean its a PC about 6 years old
The laptop I'm saving to from the fried HDD is a 3-months old Samsung RV520, you think this laptop would work with PTLE10? It has Windows 7 already on it....thanks! Forget this lappy...doesn't even have a firewire port on it for the 002r..... |
