I know this is probably a really stupid question, but I'm assuming that - despite there being virtually no difference between PT11 and PT12 - we all still have to wait for plug-ins to be updated before they'll run properly? I've only just managed to get all mine up to 11(!), it's soooooooo fricking tedious.

No, nothing has changed in terms of format. Of course it's possible that bugs can occur in 12 that aren't present in 11. For example, UAD version prior to 8, would work in 12 but their GUIs wouldn't show. It's the nature of software.

This is why everyone should always test new versions on cloned partitions before committing their system to it.
