Disabling a hardware option at startup (OSX question)

Hope I don't ruffle any feathers posting here but I didn't get any answers on the M-Audio message board, and it's probably more of an osx question.

The Fast Track Pro has a common problem with noise which is fixed by unchecking the box in the fast track preferences pane that turns off outputs 3 & 4, but you have to do it every time you restart the computer, (this happens on macbook with snow leopard AND mac mini with Lion).

Any mac gurus out there that know a .plist or other system edit to do so this option is unchecked at start up?
