ReWire Conundrum
Hi,
I've used PT as a ReWire host for Reason in my studio since it came out without any problems. Since upgrading to Reason 4 I've been occasionally getting the message 'Reason engine not responding. Please check ReWire Host Application' when I launch some PT sessions with Reason inserted on an instrument channel. I can't figure out the problem as Reason will launch on some sessions but on others. There is no significant difference between the sessions. Usually it's just one instance of Reason inserted. On PT sessions where I have this problem when I de-insert the 'Reason' tab on the instrument channel and re-insert it on the same channel I'm told that the Reason engine is already in use. There is only one instance of the Reason Engine on the hard drive. I've been on to Propheads and, so far, no one can figure it out. Anyone got any bright ideas? Re: ReWire Conundrum
Hi Phil,
Thanks for getting back. Yes, latest version of ReWire is 1.7 and it was installed when I upgraded to Reason 4... |
