I have PTLE 7.1 with a Digi 002 Rack. I recently upgraded from 6.9 and I notice that some things are shifted around.
I can't hear playback when record is enabled and I have to click it off in order to hear playback. Also Pre-roll now doesn't work -presumably for the same reason, as record is enabled when I'm using pre-roll. Is this simple - do I just have to change a setting or is it a known issue ? Any help much appreciated. |

It sounds like an input monitoring setting issue..
Under the track menu you will find either "Input Only Monitoring" or "Auto Input Monitoring" Whatever you have set, try changing it to the other.. I don't think this affects pre-roll but I could be wrong.. Can't test I'm away from my Mac.. Search the manual for pre-roll and see what you find...
