WHEN I AM RECORDING AUDIO, IT RECORDS FINE. HOWEVER, WHEN I TRY TO PLAY BACK THE AUDIO, I GET NO VOLUME. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE BECAUSE I AM GETTING GOOD LEVELS IN THE WAVES.

If you are trying to playback with the track still in record you need to go find the 'auto input monitor' setting or 'set track to auto input monitor' (depending on which version of PT you are running) this will allow you to hear audio on a track during playback while it is still record armed.
