Default PT file icons wrong, please help

Hi there,

I just replaced my system drive. I made a clone of my old one using "superduper", copied this to the new drive and everything works fine. BUT, all my PT icons are wrong. When I do get info it tells me it will open these files with "TestThePrinter.html". When I switch to PT6.7 (the other option), it changes just fine. When i try to say change all like this it says it will change all files with PTS extension to PT6.7 then reverts the get info file back to this other icon. Now, there is no document or app named TestThePrinter.html on my machine. Any one run into this and know how to get out???? I also tried reinstalling PT6.7CS5 but no change (also reboot, repair permissions etc).

Thanks in advance,
-Lee

Default Re: PT file icons wrong, please help

Hey again,

After much experimenting I can report that the problem is that there is a bogus default application associated with all protoos and SD2 files called "testThePrinter.html", Needless to say there is no App (or file) by this name. Any one know how to delete this from the default app list?

Thanks much....
-Lee
