Clearing out unused media in sessions
I have a session thats getting out of hand size wise. I need to burn it to a disk but the thing is 5 gigs. I know most of it is bad takes in the studio that arent even in the session. How do i clear out the files that arent being used in the session so i can manage it. I know in nuendo you could empty out the trash and remove unused media from the session. I want to do that with protools

In the regions list, select unused regions. You'll have a choice to DELETE or REMOVE from the session.
You may want to read through the PT Reference Manual for a more descriptive explanation...
