Default Unable to locate Digidesign hardware
hi,i am recording beginner,
i have a problem with protools
here is the list of all my materiel:
-computer:Fujitsu Siemens SCALEO P
-system:Windows XP Sweet 5.1;Microsoft Windows XP Proffesionnal/Version 2002/Service Pack 3(SWEET)
-Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU [email protected]/1.79GHz,1.00 Go of RAM
-sound interface:M-audio Fast Track(that i'm connecting with a 1.90 meter standard usb cable in the back port of the computer)
-PRO TOOLS LE 8
i have searched for similar problems in DUC site but i haven't found one,all of them are about the Protools M-Powered
i've always done all protools optimizing steps for my version of service pack
the problem is that when i run the programm it shows me this messsage
"Unable to locate Dgidesign hardware.Mahe sure your hardware is connected and turned on.Click "OK" when the hardware is ready."

Pro Tools LE will not run with M-Audio devices. You need Pro Tools M-Powered.

I upgraded from MBox to M-Audio ProFire 2626... I had to purchase ProTools M-Powered.

Although I have PTLE 8.0.3.. through MBox Micro. 2 version can coexist in same system..
