Does anyone have their dinosaur Digi 003 console working with the 2020.12


I forgot to backup up on time machine before I upgraded (RATS)


Do I have to reinstall and go back to 2020.9 ?

My bad, I was hanging some LED lights around my monitor and I bumped the cable and shut everything down pushed the firewire cable back in and all good.

So I guess Digi 003 console is working on 2020.12 (both versions) of the console drivers 11.1.3 & 11.1.5

Yep - still have digi003 working on every release up to and including 2020.12. It sometimes randomly disconnects - usually if left idle for more than a few hours - but otherwise rock solid

NZDingo I never had a disconnect unless the buffer size was to small. Good to know.

So where can I find the drivers to run the 003 Console on PT 2020.12 that will work? I just bought a new Intel Mac Mini with Catalina, and an Icon QCon G2 Pro control surface, but I love my 003 and would rather keep it if possible. Ive been running my 003 for years on Pro Tools 9 and am finally upgrading everything....

By the way, you might have REALLY lucked out. ALWAYS turn off everything before swapping the firewire cable. Hot-swapping the firewire cable has been known to fry controller chips in 003s.

Yeah and 2020.12 does not support Sierra, but there is always someone who wants to be living on the edge

Same boat here as well. I know the convertors are not stellar, but it's a great control surface and I'll keep pounding it till it fails. Looking forward to paring it with a Aurora 16.


Will be interesting to see if the oo3 works on Big Sur ?
