OSX downgrade to run PT 11?

I am doing some searching and can't get a solid answer? Sorry if I missed something, but can you guys help me out? I thought I would ask you guys straight up.

I have a 2020 Mac min M1 that is maxed out. Since I am not billing in audio any longer I haven't upgraded since PT 11. I have been seeing some threads where PT is running on an M1, but they are hard to verify.

I want to try something. Since I have a 1TB drive, can I partition and downgrade to a previous osx and can it run PT 11? I think I can only downgrade to Catalina?

I just like having PT around in case I have to go into a private project.

Is it worth trying or should I not waste my time.

You won't be able to run an older mac osx on the M1 chips.

PT 11 requires Yosemite

So pt11 definitely won't work with the M1 macs unfortunately.

And for your information the M1 Mac Mini can only run with Big Sur or newer versions of macOS. The rule of thumb is that Apple Macs can only run on the version of macOS that it was originally released with or newer (until the the OS is too many version ahead that the old hardware can not run it).
